xCluster presents a comprehensive visual representation of DX cluster activity, specifically designed for the iPad. The application effectively receives DX spots via telnet or web services and presents them in both tabular format and on a world map. Users can filter these spots by call sign or band, enhancing their ability to track specific activity.

The application generates spots based on the geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the DX station and the spotter. An internal call parsing component aids in identifying the country associated with each call. For users seeking more precise location data, xCluster can leverage QRZ.com, which is prioritized over the built-in parser.

Additionally, DX spots are visually represented on a map or organized in a tabular list. Users have the option to set alerts for particular stations, bands, or countries, which will be prominently highlighted both in the list and on the map for easy identification.

xCluster includes access to several major telnet clusters, including DXSummit and PSK Reporter. The integration with PSK Reporter enables users to see other stations capable of receiving their signal; however, it requires proper configuration with WSJT-X or FLDIGI for optimal functionality.
